Hi everyone,

In september I'm going to travel to NY with my mum! We're so excited to do this, beucause is the first time that we go to USA and NY is a beautiful city.

The places that we want know in our travel are:

1. Statue of Liberty
I know it's so cliche, but I really want know!

2. Times Square
I want to see one brodway show, everybody say that the experience to being see this is amazing.

3. Empire State Building
I want to rise up and view NY above.

4. Central Park
I always see central park in movies, I think it will be one interesting experience.

5. Brooklyn Bridge
It's so famous in movies too and it's a beautiful monument.

6. Fifth Avenue
I'm really wanna know the famous stores, manily Tiffany's store! One friend told me that have one specific pendant in this store.

7. Metropolitan Museum of Art
Everybody say that is so interesting.

8. The wax museum Madame Tussauds
I always want to see the waxworks.

9. World Trade Center memorial
I think this is one importante place in NY.

10. Broadway show
I don`t know what I want see, I`m in doubt between opera ghost and Chicago.

So, I want go to Washington D.C too and know the white house.

I think in this things right now, but I want to do more things!

AC/DC

Hi everyone,

One of my favorite rock bands is AC/DC. So today I wanna talk more about it.

AC/DC is one Sydney's band (Australia) which began in 1973 with the brothers Angus and Malcon Young, many people considers AC/DC one the first heavy metal band, but the members prefer to say: "we're one rock'n roll band!", and I agree with them.

The acronnyng AC/DC means: alternating current/direct current.

Nowadays the members of the band:

Angus Young: guitar
Malco Young: vocal and guitat
Cliff Willians: bass
Brian Johnsoh: vocal
Phil Rudd: battery

My favorite AC/DC's music is You Shook me All Night Long:

Here in Brazil we can buy AC/DC's beer, I never drank, but I want.

I'm really want go to one AC/DC's show, I'm expect that they will come to Brasil in 2015.

Global Warming

Hello everyone,

Nowadays everybody knows what means global warming, when I was in elementary school I read many books that told about hole in the ozone layer and how this contribute for worsen the earth warming. Al Gore is one of the most important environmentalist in the world argues that this theory, in 2000 he ran for the U.S presidency and he would try to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide. 

Al Gore did one movie “An Inconvenient Truth”, it’s so scary movie that what can happen if we don’t nothing to reduce the hole in ozone layer. In United Kingdom this movie can’t be exposed in school, because one judge said this movie is so exaggerated and apocalyptic . Al Gore have one theory  that we humans are destroying our world, although exist other  scientists affirm that the global warming is natural and do not depends on action of man.

However, reduce the emission of carbon dioxide means for many industrial parts reduce profits and it could be a problem for world economy. It’s important talk about carbon credit, this work like this:

So to determining the amount that each country can issue is determined for treated like the Kyoto protocol, that countries like U.S denied to accept.

The earth is warming, everybody know this, every year we see the melting ice caps, many animals are being extinct and we stay with the doubt: “What we can do for reduce these effects?”.

Hello,

my boyfriend and me had one good idea to practice our English. The ideo of this blog was so interesting, but now we never write here.
So we know, if don't practice we wouldn't improve our English and worse, we can be forgot the things (that not so much) we know.
Thw answer of our questions:

Didn't understand? Really? But the answear is so obvious!
We need practice, but wee so shy, when we drink (a little ok?) we can relax, and do more jokes, but just in English!!

This is just a different kind to talk English, in our first 'talk beer' I don't drink, because someone needs to drive!
if you have less 18 years old this joke isn't for you and if you need to drive too!

Books

One thing that I'm really love to do is read novel books!

I like read academics books too, because I'm really love my area, education.
I wish have one library in my house, but that I had read all books, now I have many books in my bedroom, justin my cabinet.

To read novel I don't have strategies, just sit or cog, many times when I need to wait a long have one book is interesting and relaxing.

I think that I'm read at least 10 books for year, I know it isn't ideal, I need to read more, but I always read magazines and news in sites.

When I read one academic book always I do notes, sometimes in one notebook and many times in the book itself, with a marker or postiches. To learn better I need to write what I'm thinking.

Traffic jam every day

The traffic jam is the worst problem of sobradinho city. Only one highway connect our city to Brasília, where everybody works, and in the top hourly everyone trying to pass to this way together.

We need to have patience in this hour because if you combine this with a stressful rotine, you can lost your head.

When have an accident in this highway, the option is stop the car in the street and wait the traffic be better. I'm here now, waiting.
